2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan Lineup

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class wrapped up its 5th generation at the top of the rankings, but where the leading luxury automaker is concerned, the best can always get better. If you’re not familiar with the E-Class, you can think of it as a slightly smaller version of the flagship S-Class executive sedan. The 2024 model year will open with a top-to-bottom redesign of the E-Class, and the many upgrades are sure to satisfy Orange County and Irvine’s most discerning drivers:

  • Hybrid setups for both turbocharged engine options
  • All-new technology and amenities, unified by the MBUX Superscreen
  • Progressive new exterior styling, reinforcing the connection between legacy and invention

2024 E-Class Exterior: Bridging Tradition and Modernity

The new E-Class respects automotive tradition while signaling the movement forward. Nowhere is that ethos more evident than its refreshed exterior design, which references classic E-Class design cues while building a bridge to the avant-garde designs of Mercedes-EQ.

  • High-gloss black panel connecting the radiator grille with the headlamps, echoing the Mercedes-EQ line
  • Distinct “cab-backward” design
  • Three-dimensionally designed radiator grille
  • Eye-brow-shaped daytime running lights
  • Flush-fitting door handles
  • High-performance two-section LED lights with a new contour
  • New star motif design in both headlamp units

2024 E-Class Interior: A Seamless Digital Experience

The MBUX Superscreen now merges with the central display to create one seamless glass surface for the dashboard. On the tech side, Trabuco Canyon drivers can expect brand-new technologies—like artificial intelligence that can learn which comfort systems are preferred, and automate those functions for a ride that’s customized like never before. Here’s what else is new for the 2024 E-Class sedan:

  • High-resolution instrument cluster display
  • Optional front passenger screen
  • Available DIGITAL LIGHT visual support for all lighting conditions
  • New central onboard computer for faster performance of all infotainment and control functions
  • Available Active Ambient Lighting with Sound Visualization to “see” audio and app functions on the light band
  • Intelligent blocking concept to ensure the content on the front passenger screen is not visible to the driver while the vehicle is in motion
