Each covered vehicle is equipped with traceable identification codes etched onto windows, paired with anti-theft warning decals. These codes are registered in a national tracking database accessible to law enforcement agencies—enhancing the chance of recovery and deterring theft.
If your vehicle is declared a total loss due to theft, your chosen Theft Protection Plan will pay a guaranteed benefit of $1,000, $2,500, $3,000, or $5,000, depending on the plan selected at the time of enrollment.
In the event that the Theft Deterrent System fails and the vehicle is stolen and declared a total loss, you will receive the guaranteed benefit amount as per your selected plan. This coverage adds a financial cushion to help cover gaps not reimbursed by your insurance provider.
If your vehicle is recovered after a theft but suffers damage, the plan provides a Partial Loss Benefit—equal to either your primary insurance deductible or the cost of theft-related repairs (whichever is less), up to $1,000.
For eligible vehicles, the Theft Protection plan includes a Vehicle Replacement Guarantee that pays up to $50,000 toward the replacement of your vehicle if it is declared a total loss due to theft. This benefit can cover:
