Troubleshooting Tips

- CarPlay/Android Auto won’t launch: Try a different cable, remove and re-add the device in MBUX, and confirm your model supports wireless integration.
- Audio or call quality issues: Make the vehicle your primary audio/call device and close other Bluetooth® accessories (earbuds, smartwatches) during setup.
- Contacts/messages not showing: On your phone’s Bluetooth® settings for the vehicle, enable Sync Contacts and Show Notifications.
- Multiple phones paired: In MBUX, set your preferred device to Priority under Phone > Devices.
Availability Notes
- Wireless smartphone integration availability varies by model year and option package.
- Some vehicles require a wired USB connection for Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
- USB ports may be data-enabled or charge-only; use a data-enabled port for smartphone integration.
